Over 100 Scouts picnic in style at Nottingham Castle

Eating together, learning how to climb and playing games was the order of the day for the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts & Explorers who took part in the Big Lunch.

County Commissioner, Kathryn Wills, said

"It's great to see families supporting Scouting. Meeting parents, brothers and sisters is vital to maintaining a strong Group. I was even speaking with a mother who agreed to become an assistant leader!!". She continued "The Big Lunch is all about bringing communities together and that's exactly what we do in Scouting.
