Explorers

For young people aged 14 to 18 years we have the Explorer Scout Section. The District is responsible for Explorer Scout Units. Some Units are linked to one or more Scout Groups whilst others are based around different activities. All Explorer Scouts can take part in the activities of other Units in their District.

Explorer Scouts work for the Chief Scout's Platinum & Diamond Awards and the ultimate goal of the Queen's Scout Award. As part of these Awards Explorer Scouts are encouraged to take part in the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme.
