'BIG LUNCH'
SUNDAY 19th JULY
Thousands of Scouts enjoyed taking part at this year’s County Camp.
Activities on offer included archery, BMX biking, bouncy castles, canoeing, climbing, crate stacking, crafts, discos, multi-faith zone, nature trails, film shows, open fire cooking, rafting, survival skills, swimming, water rockets, weaselling and zorbing.
ONE YEAR ON
Each camper received a County Centenary badge. These badges can be worn above the left pocket on the uniform shirt for the rest of 2009. For those who were not on the Camp the County Office has a supply of these cloth badges for sale at 50 pence each.
ALMOST 400 BEAVER SCOUTS
JOINED THE FUN
Beaver Scouts arrived by the coach load on the Sunday to have a fun-packed day of adventure. With loads of craft activities, bouncy castles, picnics and a spectacular 'Knights of the Roundtable' performance at lunchtime a fun day was certainly had by all!
