Objectives

State the importance and value of maintaining accurate records and accounts
List the records which need to be maintained within the Section and Group
Maintain accurate and appropriate records and accounts for their Section
Explain the financial responsibilities and procedures which occur within the Section and Group
Explain the value of effective communication with parents and other members of the Group Council and outline how this might be achieved
Keep records in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act and other relevant legislation and regulations
Outline the insurance arrangements for Section activities
Detail the accident reporting procedure
