Objectives

State the importance and value of maintaining accurate records and accounts
List the records and administrative procedures which need to be maintained within the Section, Group, District and County
Ensure the maintenance of accurate and appropriate records procedures and accounts for their Sections, Group, District or County
Keep records in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act and other relevant legislation and regulations
Explain the financial responsibilities and procedures which occur within the Sections, Group and District including the particular responsibilities of trustees
Discuss the roles and responsibilities of Sections, Group, District and County Chairmen, Secretaries, Treasurers and other administrators and how to brief and support them in their appointments
Detail the necessary insurance arrangements for property, activities and events in Scouting
Detail the accident reporting procedure
Explain the role that POR has in setting the framework for the Association and use it to identify the responsibilities and requirements of theirs and other people's roles
