Objectives

Explain the structure and purpose of the Adults in Scouting model
Plan how they would fulfil their responsibilities within the Adults in Scouting model
List the 8 (Belbin) roles necessary for an effective group
Identify their preferred role(s) and the preferred role(s) of others
Run and chair meetings effectively
Outline ways of consulting others
Describe two theories of motivation
Identify factors which motivate adults in Scouting and suggest methods of maximising these
Identify factors which demotivate adults in Scouting and identify methods of minimising these
